What is recorded here

Knockaninane West holds a circular hut platform inside the southern half of a rath, marking a small domestic or ritual footprint within a larger defended landscape. The raised earth still outlines a space wide enough for one room, a hearth, and perhaps a person sitting in the dark. The nearby underground passage suggests the site did more than shelter; it may have hidden people, tools, or memory from the storm and the world above.

Within the S half of a rath (KE059-016---). The remains of a roughly circular area (4m E-W; 3.7m N-S) defined by a raised platform (H c. 0.4m). There is a slight depression in the centre. A slight projection off the E arc may indicate the entrance location. There is a possible Man-made underground passage (KE059-016001-) immediately to the S.
