Hut site in Gortadirra

In rough heather-clad mountain pasture, on the break of a steep NE-facing slope with views NE over Lough Leane. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.1m NW-SE; 2m NE-SW) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.45m). The lower courses of the wall are best preserved along the NE side. The level interior is obscured by moss-covered rubble and ferns. A hut site (KE066-141003-) is c. 6m to the W and another (KE066-141001-) is c. 75m to the N.
