Hut site in Derreenacrinnig East

In rough grazing, with occasional surface boulders, on a NW-facing hillslope. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2m N-S) defined by a collapsed, curving, drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.4m) with a straight S side (L 2.2m) formed by the face of outcropping rock. The drystone wall is jumbled and is partially covered by sods. The entrance (Wth 0.6m) is at the N. There is a hut site (CO106-067008-) c. 3m to the W and another hut site (CO106-067003-) is c. 30m to the E. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
