Hut site in Derreenacrinnig East

In rough grazing, with occasional surface boulders, on a NW-facing hillslope. The remains of an oval hut site (8m NW-SE; 6m NE-SW) defined by a collapsed drystone wall that is in a jumbled state. The lower course consists mainly of boulder-type stones. The interior, which is in pasture, is uneven. A hut site (CO106-067004-) is c. 35m to the N and a second hut site (CO106-067006-) is c. 25m to the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
