Hut site in Deelis (glanarought By., Glanmore Ed)

In rough hill pasture, on the SE bank of the Drimminboy River. The remains of an oval hut site (3.2m E-W; 2m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.65m at S) which mainly consists of large stone slabs. The larger stones of the lower courses, which are partly grass covered, protrude above the bog. The interior is obscured by a large quantity of rubble. Another hut site (KE111-017001-) is 46m to the SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
