One chamber, six metres long and four and a half across, fits inside the rath like a room cut from the hill. Stones still lean around a hollow centre, perhaps a hearth, perhaps only the memory of heat. Whoever built it did not need a palace; a roofed place to breathe, eat and wait out rain was enough.

A stony mound with a central depression is located in the SW quadrant of the rath's interior. It measures 6m x 4.65m in overall dimensions and may represent the remnants of a hut (KE070-030001-).
