
What is recorded here
A small circular enclosure located in open moorland on the S slopes of Croaghmarhin overlooking Gleann Mór. It measures c. 7m in diameter internally and the ruined enclosing wall is up to .3m high but is now largely obscured by vegetation and peat.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1531. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
