What is recorded here
Adjacent at NE is a second circular hut (KE070-042003-), 5.4m x 4.5m internally, which is bisected by the modern field boundary that traverses the interior of the caher. Some stone facing, .6m high, is preserved along its inner face.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 565. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
