What is recorded here

Ballyganner South holds a D-shaped hut on a west-facing slope, its low bank leaning against a newer field boundary while a wedge tomb waits eighty-five metres southeast. The shape suggests people lived beside death itself, perhaps tending fields or watching the road between worlds. Its straight northern edge implies pragmatism: build with what is already there. The pasture has smoothed every angle, but the outline still resists forgetting.

On a W-facing slope in improved pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). A D-shaped enclosure (c. 10m N-S; c. 8m E-W) defined by a low bank with a straight N side (L c. 6m) where it abuts a contemporary field boundary, visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi orthophotography (MapGenie 2013-2018).
