Hut site in Baile Ristín

On steep W slopes of Knockmoylemore mountain. A group of 6 circular corbelled drystone foundations, ranging in diameter from 1.65 x 1.9m to 3.2m. Two of the structures may have been built as booley huts, but the remainder were probably animal pens or shelters. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
