Hut site in Baile An Bhúlaeraigh Thuaidh

National Monument No. 10034. On W slopes of Garfinny valley, in scree-strewn rough pastureland, is a group of 4 drystone-built structures, 3 of which are roughly-constructed sheep-pens while the 4th may be the remains of a circular hut. The latter has a small sub-circular annex, 2.3 x 2.4m, at S. D: 5 to 5.3m. H: .9m. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.
