Castle Street still marks the edge of Huntly, where the old public school stood before children stopped filling its rooms. The building may have vanished or changed beyond recognition, but the street name preserves the claim that learning belonged to the town rather than one family. A child walking past today may never know the classrooms existed, yet the town remembers through the name alone.
