Hoy, Dwarfie Stane

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Hoy, Dwarfie Stane as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to approximately 3000–2500 BCE. It is significant as one of the few well-preserved prehistoric tombs on the Orkney mainland and provides insight into early burial practices and megalithic construction in northern Scotland.
