Detached three-bay two-storey house, c.1875, on a corner site. Renovated, c.1925, with shopfront inserted to right ground floor. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Unpainted roughcast walls with rendered quoins to corners. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, rendered surrounds, and one-over-one timber sash windows. Rendered shopfront, c.1925, to right ground floor with fixed-pane timber window, glazed tongue-and-groove timber panelled door having overlight, fascia having consoles, and moulded cornice. Interior with timber panelled reveals/shutters to window openings. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.

A pleasant modest-scale house retaining most of the original composition qualities together with substantial quantities of the historic fabric both to the exterior and to the interior, thereby maintaining the character of the site. A simple shopfront of some artistic design merit further enhances the external expression of the house in the streetscape.
