What is recorded here
Detached four-bay two-storey house, c.1875. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Unpainted roughcast walls with painted rendered strips to ends. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and one-over-one timber sash windows (boarded-up with glazing missing). Square-headed door opening with tongue-and-groove timber panelled door. Road fronted with tarmacadam footpath to front.
A pleasant house of modest architectural pretensions retaining the original form and massing together with the remains of some of the original fabric, thereby contributing positively to the visual appeal of an historic streetscape.
