Semi-detached two-bay two-storey house, built c.1840. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls to ground floor with string course and slate-hung walls to first floor. Square-headed window openings with painted sills and aluminium windows. Round-headed door opening flanked by render pilasters supporting moulded archivolt having prominent keystone and aluminium door and fanlight. Cast- and wrought-iron pedestrian gate with cast-iron piers set in rendered boundary wall with cut limestone coping and cast-iron railings. Set within its own grounds.

One of a pair, this well-proportioned house’s design and detailing are skilfully executed. The slate hanging is a particularly noteworthy feature which was once characteristic throughout Cork city and county but is now sadly increasingly rare. The doorcase, slate hanging, and fine gate and railings add to its historic charm.
