What is recorded here
The Civil Survey 1652-54 mentions 'a slate house' which is associated with the tower house (TS082-055001-) and within the bawn (TS082-055002-). There are no visible remains of this house which remains unlocated within Rochestown townland, though in close proximity to the tower house as it was also within the bawn.
