What is recorded here
On the Down Survey (1655-6) Crannagh barony map, there are two houses depicted in the N portion of the townland. The terrier accompanying the Down Survey parish map for 'Part of Jerypoynt Abbey', records that 'It containes onely the towne lands of Garrannemannagh alias Garra=[A] CLoran which hath one house and some cabbins thereon’. The location of this house within the townland is unknown.
