House

'Insula South' is an area of houses isolated from the street fronts of Peter St. and Lady Lane, and located inside the Viking bank and ditch (WA009-005006-). The remains were fragmentary because of disturbance caused by St Peter's graveyard and post-medieval activity in the area, but traces of four structures, including one pre-dating the Viking bank, and two sunken houses were recorded.
