Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1800, retaining early fenestration to first floor. Renovated, c.1960, with openings remodelled to left ground floor to accommodate part commercial use. Now disused to left ground floor. Gable-ended roof with slate. Clay ridge tiles. Rendered chimney stacks (shared). Cast-iron rainwater goods on eaves course. Rendered walls. Painted. Square-headed window openings to first floor. Stone sills. Early 2/2 timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening to right ground floor. Replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1960. Openings/shopfront to left ground floor not visible behind iron roller shutter, c.1990. Road fronted. Concrete flagged footpath to front.

This house has been extensively renovated to ground floor in the late twentieth century to accommodate a commercial use, although the original form and early fabric is retained to the first floor. The results of the alterations to ground floor are unclear at present, the shopfront now disused and concealed by an iron roller shutter. The original form and fabric ought to be retained in the course of future renovation works. The house is of considerable interest for its impact on the streetscape of Main Street, continuing the established streetline of the planned street while contributing to the regular roofline of the terrace.
