Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800, having flat-roof addition to rear. Pitched thatched roof with low rendered chimneystack and low copings. Whitewashed walls. Square-headed window and door openings with lugged render surrounds and replacement uPVC fittings. Garden to front with low boundary wall, and yard to rear and side, with rendered outbuildings.
This is a typical vernacular house of the region, with a thatched roof and simple openings and chimneystack. Its setting, with a garden to the front and yard of outbuildings to the rear, provides context.
