The house lies in the NE corner of a small area (c. 12m N-S; c. 10m E-W) enclosed by grass-covered, collapsed stone walls.
The medieval church of Noughaval (CL009-059023-) lies c. 40m to the N, within a graveyard (CL009-059024-). A 16th/17th-century house (CL009-167007-) lies c. 54m to the ESE.
