What is recorded here

At the N end of a narrow valley of pastureland between Gleninagh ‘Mountain’ and Cappanawalla Hill, SE of centre in a large cashel (CL002-030002-). Not listed in the SMR (1992) or the RMP (1996). A partially obscured rectangular or subrectangular building (traceable L 8m E–W x 4m N–S) defined by grassed-over stone walling (Wth 2.4m; H 0.3m). A field wall is built over its W end and collapsed stone covers its E end. A second building (CL002-030005-) within the cashel is c. 23m WSW and a shell midden (CL002-030003-) was noted in 1994 (pers. comm. Tom Coffey, SMR file).
