What is recorded here

In rough pasture, at foot of the NW-facing slope of Baurearagh Mountain. The remains of a rectangular house (4m NE-SW; 3.1m NW-SE) built on a platform cut (D 0.6m) into the upslope. The house consists of a well-built, drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 1m) which is partly collapsed; both the SW and NE walls have collapsed inwards, covering part of the interior. There is a door ope (Wth 0.7m) in the centre of the NW wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
