What is recorded here
Extending into the interior of Carrownree rath (SL013-059001-) from the bank at SE is a rectangular house site (dims. 7.4m NW-SE; 4.7m NE-SW). Its SE side is defined by the bank of the rath; its SE, NW and NE sides by low rubble stone banks (Wth 1.3m; H 0.4m). The original entrance is not recognisable. The level of the interior is similar to that of the rath.
