Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800, having flat-roof addition to rear. Pitched thatched roof with scolloped block ridge, and low rendered chimneystack. Painted roughcast rendered walls with render skirting and parallel raised quoins. Square-headed window and door openings with replacement uPVC fittings. Garden to front. House tucked into slight hollow beside road.

This is a very good example of local vernacular housing. The thatched roof is enhanced by the decorative scollopwork to the ridge, and the simple openings and chimneystack are typical of vernacular houses. The setting, in a slight hollow, and with a garden to the front, set off the building well.
