Pitched thatched roof with flush ridge and with wire mesh to eaves, low rendered chimneystack, and rendered copings to gables. Rendered and painted walls with rendered plinth and rendered quoins and eaves course. Outbuilding has pitched corrugated-iron roof and painted random rubble stone walls. Square-headed window openings with replacement timber windows, stone sills and decorative render surrounds with stones inset. Square-headed glazed sheeted timber door with decorative render surround. Set back from road with outbuildings to north and rendered boundary wall with farmyard to rear.
This attractive thatched house retains its original form and characteristics such as the thatched roof, low chimneystack and small openings. The decorative quoins and render bands add visual interest. The low boundary wall and the outbuildings, particularly that attached to the gable, pleasantly enhance the setting.
