Kilcolman’s wart well stands roofed by a single stone slab on the west side of a steep valley stream. People sought its water for skin trouble, but silt has choked the basin and erased the drinking edge. The stone chamber still holds its shape, waiting for rain to fill what human hands forgot.

On W side of stream in steep sided valley. Stone built surround (H c. 0.4m; Wth 0.75m) roofed with stone slab. Known as "wart well"; now silted up. (CMMS). This holy well, known locally as the "wart well," was traditionally associated with a cure for warts, a common ailment addressed through ritual washing or immersion in the water. Though the specific saint linked to the site is not recorded, such wells were often dedicated to early Christian saints and were believed to possess healing properties through both faith and folklore.
