Flamingstown is not a typhoon, it is a well where clean water still rises after centuries of rain. The name itself is a clue, for flame and water both transform before they reveal themselves. A person may stand beside it at dawn, drink once, and remember why clarity feels like hunger rather than pleasure. What seems ordinary in a busy life may be a hidden well, waiting for patience and attention before it gives itself up.
