St. Kevin's Well in Derrynaseera, County Laois, is remembered only through a stopped-up mention in old letters, denying the water and the name. The townland swallowed the ritual site whole, leaving behind a ghost of cleanliness and devotion. What remains is a hole in local memory where a living well once stood, forcing imagination to fill the silence with forgotten prayers and hidden water.
