What is recorded here

Holy wells are ritual sites where water is believed to carry grace, healing or warning. In Clonamery the well may have marked a boundary between the ordinary field and a deeper world where human wishes could be spoken without shame. People may have visited it during illness, before marriage or at the turning of seasons, leaving small gifts or prayers behind. The water may have been clear or dark, but its power depended on belief, memory and the courage to ask.
