What is recorded here

Entrance gateway to Holly Park House, erected c. 1830, comprising two pairs of square-profile carved limestone piers with cut limestone plinths and caps having round-headed façades, with recessed panel and crest to each elevation. Piers flanking double-leaf cast-iron vehicular gate and single-leaf pedestrian gates. Foundry mark to pedestrian gate reads: 'Fielding / Greeks'. Cut limestone walls having dressed limestone coping flanking gateway.
This decorative gateway remains intact, preserving its original character and form and adding considerable artistic interest to the roadscape. Fine technical skill is evident in the stone and metal work.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
