Hollypark House is an important house architecturally and historically. There is a long history of houses on this site as it was built on the base of the keep of the castle of the Knights of Glin. The present house was restored after a fire. Its significance lies in the style of architecture employed to build the house. The use of the Georgian Gothic style in this country house is quite uncommon within Coutny Limerick.
