Holland No. 5

Protected wreck

What is recorded here

The National Heritage List for England records Holland No. 5 as a protected wreck. The saved point comes from the centre supplied by the official record. Listing does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Holland No. 5 was a Dutch submarine, part of the early 20th-century Royal Netherlands Navy. It was lost in 1911 during a training exercise in the North Sea, foundered in heavy fog near the Eddystone, off the coast of Devon, England, with the loss of all 22 crew members.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
