HMT *Knot* was a requisitioned steam trawler that served in World War I and was lost in 1916 after striking North Carr Rock near Fife Ness in the North Sea. The wreck resulted in the loss of all 11 crew members and highlights the dangers faced by naval trawlers during the war.
