HMT Fortuna was a requisitioned trawler that served during the Second World War and was lost in 1940 after striking rocks at St Abbs Head in the North Sea. The wreck resulted in the loss of all 32 crew members and highlights the dangers faced by trawlers converted for wartime service along Scotland's east coast.
