What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Hms Lewiston as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
HMS Lewiston was a British Royal Navy minesweeper lost in 1940 during World War II after striking a magnetic mine off the coast of Wales. The vessel sank quickly, resulting in the loss of all 15 crew members; its wreck is now a protected war grave and a recorded site in the National Monuments Record of Wales.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
