HMS King Edward VII was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the Royal Navy, launched in 1897 and lost in 1916 after striking a mine off Strathy Point in the Pentland Firth. The ship was part of the King Edward VII class and was decommissioned by the time of its loss; no major loss of life was recorded, and its wreck is now a protected historic site.
