HMS Itchen was a Royal Navy destroyer launched in 1917 and lost during World War I when it struck a mine off the coast of Scotland. The vessel sank on 23 August 1917, resulting in the loss of all 192 crew members; its wreck remains one of the most significant and tragic naval losses of the war in Scottish waters.
