HMS H-47 was a British H-class submarine built during World War I. It was lost in 1919 during a training exercise in the Irish Sea, when it sank after colliding with the trawler *Elsie*. All 12 crew members died. The wreck is now a protected site and is recorded as a monument in Wales.
