Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Hms Argyll: Bell Rock, North Sea as Cruiser (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

HMS Argyll, a British cruiser, was lost in 1914 when it struck Bell Rock in the North Sea; all 650 crew members perished, making it one of the worst naval disasters of World War I. The wreck is significant as a major maritime casualty and a preserved example of early 20th-century naval architecture.
