What is recorded here

The National Heritage List for England records HM submarine A3 as a protected wreck. The saved point comes from the centre supplied by the official record. Listing does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
HM submarine A3 was a British submarine launched in 1904 and lost in 1906 during trials off the coast of Ireland. It sank after colliding with the collier *Glengall*, resulting in the deaths of all 19 crew members; the wreck is now a protected site under the National Heritage List for England.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
