HILLFORT & ?Man-made underground passage in Carncoagh

Carncoagh holds a hillfort and an uncertain underground passage, waiting beneath the soil for someone brave enough to listen. The distinction between natural cavity and human craftsmanship may have vanished, yet the shape still suggests intention. People may have dug through solid rock to hide goods, escape storms or speak to dead ancestors. That much is lost, but the hole remains, patient and unexplained.
