Hill of Auchlee

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Hill of Auchlee as Cairnfield (later Prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A cairnfield dating to the later prehistoric period; it represents a landscape of ritual or funerary monuments, common in upland areas of Scotland. Its significance lies in contributing to understanding of Neolithic and Bronze Age settlement and ceremonial practices.
