Dame Dr Hilda Lloyd was a pioneering obstetrician and gynecologist, becoming the first woman to be appointed as a senior surgeon at Guy's Hospital and the first female president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, significantly advancing women's roles in medical leadership.
