The Highfield Road Stadium was the home ground of Coventry City Football Club from 1899 until 2005 and was a significant sporting and community landmark in the city. It was demolished to make way for the new Ricoh Arena (now Coventry Building Society Arena), marking the end of an era in Coventry's football history.
