The *Helen and Ernest* was a coaster built in 1877 in Liverpool, primarily used for coastal trade in the British Isles. It was lost in 1917 after striking a mine off the coast of Wales, resulting in the loss of all 11 crew members; its wreck is now a protected site under Welsh heritage laws.
