What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Heenvliet (UKHO 9864) as Wreck. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Heenvliet* was a Dutch coaster that ran aground on 24 December 1941 near Porthcawl, Wales, during a storm. All 12 crew members were lost, and the wreck was later broken up on the shore; its loss marked one of several wartime shipping casualties along the Welsh coast.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
