This blue commemorative plaque records: The Hayling Billy Line. The Branch Railway to Hayling Island opened initially to Langstone in 1865 and was extended to South Hayling in 1867. The line closed in 1963 and is now a leisure trail. Recorded plaque organisation: Rotary Club of Havant, Havant Borough Council.
