Harburn Estate is a possible medieval tower house beneath a 19th-century park in West Lothian. Alexander Young built Harburn House in 1804, while Camilty Gunpowder Mill manufactured explosive power nearby until 1929. King Charles X of France visited in 1832, and a stone column still marks that passing.
